Hi, I’m Rachel Kerr, DNP, RN

I have a lifelong interest in health and healing, the human body, and the biosphere. After a multidimensional career spanning oncology nursing, earning a doctorate, and working in the climate movement, I found somatics - my true calling. As a neurodivergent individual, I’m running a different operating system than what’s considered typical in our society. This brings both unique and valuable perspectives as well as particular challenges. Through somatics, I learned to dignify my nervous system’s responses while transforming towards my deepest longings.

My work is now accompanying individuals and organizations on their own somatic journeys. I love going deep with people who are committed to their own transformation or to that of their team, family, or group. While I specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals and health professionals, I enjoy working with individuals of all neurotypes and professions. I have experience working somatically with neurodivergence, grief and loss, sensory differences, chronic illness and pain, and death and dying.

I’m a Certified Somatic Coach through the Strozzi Institute of Somatics, an organization which has created and honed integrative somatic methodology for over 50 years. I am in the process of becoming certified as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

When I’m not working, I can be found dancing, parenting, caring for a varied menagerie of humans, pets and wildlife, spending time with horses, and being silly with the people I love.
